3 BEDROOM 1/2 DUPLEXES IN EAST VAN

Half duplexes in today's market are quite popular. Pros of living in these type of dwellings are that they do not run in compliance with the Strata Property Act. Therefore there are no pesky minutes, no strata fees and no restrictions on rentals and pets. However, some shared costs are associated with these properties. These include exterior insurance and overall maintenance of the structure. Make sure to always get to know who's living on the other side of the duplex so that everything is smooth sailing.  

Currently, there are 37 1/2 duplex listings on the market in East Van, with a minimum of 3 bedrooms. On average, they are listed at about $974,000, ranging from $688,000 to $1,600,000. In the past month, 15 1/2 duplex sales were made. Sale prices ranged from $715,000 to $1,200,000. The most popular sales were in Collingwood, followed by Knight and Grandview sub-areas.
